BOLDIÈRE comes from the French phrase “bol de lumière,” meaning “a vessel of light.” We are inspired by natural forms that change with light, and translate the hidden senses and beauty within them into a sculptural language. Through the quiet observation of flows, fractures, fragments, and silhouettes, we study the shapes that are difficult to grasp— and interpret their structures by hand. What we create is more than an outward shape. It is a reflection of the process of perceiving oneself through light, perspective, and sensation.
