Camera Link is a high-speed interface for connecting high-performance cameras with image acquisition devices to enable efficient image processing. The standard camera connection supports transmission distances of up to ten meters. For longer distances, a signal amplifier is required.
The maximum transmission distance varies based on the following frequency-related specifications.
Camera Frequency Max Cable Length
20 ~ 60 MHz 10 m
60 ~ 80 MHz 7 m
80 ~ 85 MHz 5 m
The CLR-30 amplifies and transmits Camera Link signals in Base/Medium/Full configurations (up to 10 Taps supported) from a camera to a PC x-frame grabber.
Key Features
Fully supports the Camera Link interface (Area/Line Scan).
Supports Base/Medium/Full setups (CC1~4, RS232, LVAL, DVAL, FVAL).
Supports pixel frequency from 20 to 85 MHz.
Supports 10 Taps cameras.
Enables lossless transmission.
Provides additional full-duplex RS232 communication at up to 256 Kbps.
Supports PoCL signal bypass (patented).
Features a locking DC power jack (Molex) and SDR connectors.
Compact size compared to previous models.
* Increase the transmission distance between the camera and the x-frame grabber.
• Transmits longer distances than competitor’s products
• Small size, minimizes interference between parts
• Multi-x-layer configurations, reducing space
